spiderman1 film critique z

WRITER: Stan Lee and Stevko Ditko

DIRECTOR: Sami Raimi

The film takes place in the busiest city in America, New York. Peter Parker, a student just about to graduate, falls in love with a girl in his class, Mary Jane Watson who is an excellent theatrical singer/actor and adores Peter too. On the other hand, Peter lives alone in an apartment and works for a newspaper as a photographer to earn extra money and to pay his bills. One afternoon Parker’s class goes to a field trip to visit the spider’s museum. Peter though won’t leave the museum quite the same person. While the pupils have been led by the museum guide Peter decides to take some shots of Mary Jane (MJ). As he has been taking his shots he realizes that one of the deadliest spiders has been missing from its case. He tries to tell the museum guide, but instead gets bitten by the same spider that has escaped. He suddenly feels his body change and that is the start of a new life. He goes home feeling weird and lies down in his bed. The next day he gets unusual feelings and starts doing very unusual things. His senses strengthen and he starts feeling stronger and stronger. He soon realizes he has supernatural powers. He lets no one know of this, not even his loved ones or his best friend Harry and names himself Spiderman. Not long after Spiderman becomes famous for the villains he fights and the courage he gives to the people. The only problem though is the relationship he has with Harry’s father, Norman Osborne. Harry’s father has always ignored Peter but deep down respected him. Norman is a scientist studying new weapons and demonstrating them to the Generals of the United States Army. One night though, Norman showed a General the most powerful weapon, the glider. He went in a glass room and injected a special formula in his arm, which creates super heroes. He put too much and became bad. He grabbed the glider and soon destroyed the lab with the general inside it. He started bringing chaos in the city so the only one who could stop him was Spiderman. Just as he started having some serious relationships with MJ he gets pulled back in his second identity as Spiderman and fights of the evil. Spiderman soon killed him and ended the commotion. He once again was the savior of the city of New York.
